Heathstock Apiaries was born in the early 1980's by two McCusker brothers, after one gifted the other his first beehive as a wedding gift.

 

This gift stemmed a lifelong passion for both brothers and now after almost forty years and a thousand or so beehives later, the company remains a strong family business with one of their sons, Mark and his wife
Amy, now taking the reigns.

 

Our base is tucked away in the unique micro-climate of the Waipara Gorge in North Canterbury, giving us fantastic breeding and hive build up sites with great access to the remote high country stations of the Hurunui District, where our premium honeys are produced.
